Meet the Sleep Dentist in Concord

Get to Know Dr. Mahmoud Homsi

Dr. Homsi knows that sleep is far too important to neglect, which is why over the years, he’s taken great care to perfect his skills so that his patients have comfortable, effective solutions. However, he also loves having the chance to interact with all kinds of different people and hear their stories—he knows everyone’s journey is different, and he understands the challenges that come with untreated sleep apnea, tongue and lip tie issues, or problems with the jaw joints. He is excited to use his training to help you conquer your sleep apnea and improve your overall quality of life—but first, feel free to get to know him a little better by reading below!

Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?

At age 19, Dr. Homsi knew with absolute certainty that he wanted to become a dentist! His parents pushed strongly for him to become a doctor, but he knew that he preferred a career that involved art—and dentistry can be just that! It merged his love of drawing with his appreciation for working with his hands, and it was also the perfect combination of what both he and his parents wanted.

Where Did You Study Dentistry?

Dr. Homsi earned his dental degree from the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. On top of this, he is an active member of the American Dental Association, New Hampshire Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Homsi has also spent countless hours becoming the leading expert in Concord when it comes to sleep and airway dentistry, TMJ treatment, and tongue and lip tie treatment. Since graduating, he has taken several continuing education courses at some of the most prestigious institutions, including the Las Vegas Institute for full mouth rehabilitation and TMJ/sleep apnea therapy. He understands that by combining his experience as a dentist with his sleep apnea expertise, he’s able to truly deliver comprehensive, life-improving care for patients of all ages.

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?

Dr. Homsi is originally from Damascus, Syria, and he met his wife, Alaa, in Istanbul while he was living there and she was vacationing with her family. After she went home to the US, they kept in touch—and eventually, he was able to happily join her and start their family! When Dr. Homsi has free time, he loves to relax at home and spend quality time with her and their kids, Dalia and Zaid. Dr. Homsi also enjoys gardening. Feel free to ask Dr. Homsi to show you pictures of his garden, or if you need any tips or tricks for taking care of your plants. His favorite plant is the panicle hydrangea.
